With MLP wrapped up and a bout of the flew almost done with I was able to finish up this commission.
Hope it was worth the wait.

So I ended up reworking it again but was finally able to move onto colors. Really I have no idea why I had so much trouble with this. hmm...
Oh well just one more week of MLP and we're wrapped for the season. Just in time for Christmas.

I'm on a  Masamune Shirow binge at the moment, especially with the new Ghost in the shell Arise series. Fortunately I stumbled upon a GITS film I hadn't seen, Stand Alone Complex - Solid State Society, which was like Christmas come early for me:)

Just finished watching the series Clannad and it's sequal Clannad - After story.
As a whole story I have to say it's probably the best anime I've seen for quite some time. Something I was not expecting at all.

Some process stuff for No. 47

Coming at this from not knowing the series was the first challenge so I worked up some poses based on what I reseach I did on the character.

As the character is usually seen from the front in most pieces done of Clare the client went with the less common 3/4 back view. So many challenges with this simple looking piece:)
