Commission for a friend at work for their 1 year anniversary.
I'm more an action RPG fan myself but it was a fun project to research up on. Doesn't hurt being a long time Akihiko Yoshida fan too. If I had the time though I'm sure I'd be into it.

Roof fantasy WIP

Some process of my latest commission. (Gotta pay for Smash Bros somehow:))
done mostly in Paint tool SAI

Starting from really rough sketches (I lost the other rough)

Cleaning up for approval and finalizing the ideas

Laying down the line work and some minion changes:)

And the flats. Each color is usually on it's own layer to allow for easy corrections.

Most of the heavy work done. The shading is done directly on the each of the separate color layers.

M4 Process

Some process of a commission I've been working on.

Roughs, usual I do 3 or 4 poses but the first batch didn't work out for the client so I worked on another 4.

Variations on the chosen pose

I usually do the lines and then the flats. For shading recently I just work directly on the flats.

This was a long commission coming.
I usually draw older girls so it turned out to be a real challenge to draw one so petite. I`m glad I took it on though cause I learned a lot.

A Drawn bow

With MLP wrapped up and a bout of the flew almost done with I was able to finish up this commission.
Hope it was worth the wait.
