Live quickie

After a few failed starts on the livestream I ended with this quick sketch. Reminds me a little of Audrey from Twin Peaks.

A groovy Saturday harvest

1 to 2 hour photo ref studies again. I've noticed I loosen up quite a bit after the first one. Maybe I need warm up sketches before I start. Faith No More's Mike Patton. The Groovy Kingand the neighbors cat Radar

Dissin' the Dance Commander

"Shepard, Everybody knows you can't dance"

I wanted to revisit Jack as I wasn't happy with my first attempt at her. I took my time with this one and am a lot happier with the results.

To be honest she's probably my favorite out of Shepards posse :)

Thanks Kurtis for the feedback on this one

Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy

More Mass Effect lol. Thought I'd stick with the stock face.
Done mostly over a couple of live streams
Probably took 5 to 6 hours on this one. I'm liking the results.

Trying out textures and some stuff I learned doing backgrounds.

Saturday Studies

Just some studies for today.

This is Neeka, a neighbor's dog done from reference over 2 hours

This lovely lady courtesy of google. Done over and hour and a half. The hair was interesting. Tried a couple of things with brushes, mixed results but learned stuff along the way which is always good :)

With friends like these

Wheatley Chell and PotaDOS

Testing out some techniques :)
Done over a few nights and lunches.
I may tweak it a little later.

Daddy's girl

Miranda Lawson from Mass Effect 2 and 3.

Yesterday's lunch time painting that turned into a late night painting. I had a lot of trouble capturing her, I think maybe it's the angle I choose.. Oh well, still learning lots.

Crying like a Boss

The Joy from MGS3. She needs a hug

I figured since I was trying to paint I'd also switch up the style. I've always been a huge fan of elsevilla's work so I thought I'd make an attempt at his style.Ended up with a mash up, I hope he doesn't mind.

Thanks to Kurtis for the flow advice

You're my special prey

After running a Poll on Devieantart, Metal Gear Solid's Sniper Wolf topped the list of ladies to draw followed closely by Meryl Silverburgh. I don't remember Solid Snake being on the list...stealth maybe?

Wolf is easily one of my favorite characters in the MGS series.

Colored mostly live. Defiantly one of my more ambitious pics. Trying stuff out as usual as well as some background work.
