To the roof

Commission for a friend at work for their 1 year anniversary.
I'm more an action RPG fan myself but it was a fun project to research up on. Doesn't hurt being a long time Akihiko Yoshida fan too. If I had the time though I'm sure I'd be into it.

Roof fantasy WIP

Some process of my latest commission. (Gotta pay for Smash Bros somehow:))
done mostly in Paint tool SAI

Starting from really rough sketches (I lost the other rough)

Cleaning up for approval and finalizing the ideas

Laying down the line work and some minion changes:)

And the flats. Each color is usually on it's own layer to allow for easy corrections.

Most of the heavy work done. The shading is done directly on the each of the separate color layers.

Night Sky Pirate

Just a quickie tonight (could I have chosen anything less quick), it's been a long day. Also this maybe the last of the pirate fridays as I've left that studio, we'll see what the next studio brings (don't worry I'll still draw pirates when the mood hits)

Lunchtime Crisis

Whenever I hear the song " Wandering on a Sunny Afternoon" I have the urge to draw this guy. Lunchtime sketch is Zack Fair from Crisis Core. I loved this game

A pirate of the morning sky

Friday being pirate day at work this mornings sketch I guess technically qualifies as a pirate, of the skies that is. Square Enix's Balthier.

The first comment I got from one of my work mates was "It's a guy!?".

I had meant for this to be 30 and I'm kinda reusing the pose from yesterday, but I wanted to start drawing hands. The second hand wasn't working so I dropped it.

Tifa was one of the first pugilists in an RPG that I remember playing and she is still one of my favorites.

I've got a small thing for bunny girls. I don't know why but there you go.

I slept in the last few days, I've been pretty busy. In my head I started thinking that I'd draw in the evening or something. 2 missing days later I knew it wasn't happening. So I realized that if I want to really do this I've got to make time and get up.

Morning exercise

Well I don't have the time I did just a few weeks ago but that doesn't mean I have to stop drawing. I've been getting into photoshop and sketching for half an hour. I usually draw on paper first but I want to see how this goes. With that out of the way here's this morning.
