Desert Eagle

Lunch time sketch of Meryl Silverburgh given an evening over hall. I always have trouble drawing MGS characters. I think it may just be the style, who knows.

Lunch Hunter

"Hungry?"

Sketching during lunch today and it's more Monster Hunter. I also wanted to draw someone eating so it seemed to fit the bill.
Who can name that armor?

Morning Order

Castlevania's Shanoa.
This mornings sketch was an exercise in using black. Turned out pretty good if I do say so myself.

All Sketchbook pro, I hear sketchbook 2010 has a fill tool

MorningNess

This morning's sketch was inspired by some Earthbound cosplay featured on Kotaku this morning. I appear to draw a lot of girls who hit stuff I guess.
Lines and color in sketchbookpro and then reworked a bit in photoshop this evening

Monster cutter

Another Monster Hunter pic, must be Monday.

Post work sketch of the Lao-Shan Lung set. One of the coolest looking sets IMO. I got pretty good at taking the big guy down. Well, most of the time.

Pirate Queen

Well it was Pirate Friday today so this evenings sketch (illustration in this case) is Leiji Matsumoto's Queen Emeraldas. For those who don't know ask your Dad :).
lines in sketchbookpro and a lot of love in photoshop.

For those interested the sky was create in photoshop using the action found here [link] Googled around a bit for further instructions and BAM! you're in space.

Crab Clubbin

Back to Monster Hunter for this evening's sketch.
The girl looks like another character I haven't drawn for a while.
I'm hoping to get back into mornings again once work settles down. It's getting too late to draw and I kinda wanted to color this one...

Enjoying the lie

Poor GLaDOS can't actually eat cake. :(

I think I over worked this evening's sketch. Sketched in sketchbook and then colored in photoshop.

I know what I wanted but ack

Ninjas and virtual girls

Not much to say about this one really. I was just curious to see it colored.
Also I had to fix the ears :)

Here's another evening sketch though. My take on some girl from Halo.

Anyways I always wanted to have a go at painting white on black. Seemed like a good subject to try it on. (For a brief moment I felt like Frank Miller). After I finished sketching and cleaning up in sketchbook I ran it though photoshop with a couple of brushes and the glow.

Dis ninja

Since I missed my morning sketch I found time for a late night sketch. Thankfully Disgaea has ninjas :).

I tried working with a dark base and working light. Not too bad.
I also played with the smudge tool sketchbookPro.

A pirate of the morning sky

Friday being pirate day at work this mornings sketch I guess technically qualifies as a pirate, of the skies that is. Square Enix's Balthier.

The first comment I got from one of my work mates was "It's a guy!?".

Hunting Break

This morning I was going to sketch something simple so I decided on another coffee drinking sketch. My mind was obviously elsewhere...playing Monster Hunter me thinks or at least on a break between hunts

The felyne was added during an afternoon break:)

Fish Hunter

This mornings sketch was a little ambitious but I felt like following the theme.

My Plessy hunting set. I like the distance cause Plessy's hip check makes me want to break my PSP (even thinking about it make me mad).

Ahoy thar!

It was Pirate Friday at work again. so this mornings sketch is of Bonne Jenet from SNK's Mark of the Wolves.

I got a little carried away with the coloring this evening as the line work was pretty tight and I didn't have to think of the colors myself

End of Red...

Leaf wasn't too happy about Red making it into Soul and Heart and decided to do something about it :)

This mornings sketch almost didn't happen. My comp at work is playing up and my tablet is having major lag issues.

Anyways I had to go over my start at lunch and clean up the lines so this one had a little more time spent on it than usual.

After having monday off I thought I'd kick the week off with a morning sketch of something familiar, and therefore harder to screw up :) Street fighter's cutest little Shotoclone.
