A pirate theme for this mornings sketch. Not much to say about this one. I don't usually draw pirates but I was told Friday was pirate day. Lets see what happens next friday.

This morning's sketch was about coffee

I haven't seen enough art of this girl though to be honest I haven't really looked. MGS's little Mei Ling, developer of the Soliton Radar and the Codec communication system.

Morning Monster Hunt

For this morning I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted to sketch so I'm happy with how it turned out.

The Kirin set was one of my first elemental sets excellent for farming Kirin and Khezu :)

This mornings sketch before work was to try and use some color in sketchbook pro. So I'm thinking now that color isn't going to be something picked up over night. But I think I can get there if I try.

I wonder if gradients are possible in sketchbook?

I was going to wait till monday to draw something but oh well

Tried photoshop for this one and find that I'm liking the brushes in Sketchbook pro a little better for digital sketching

edit: I'm looking at this the next morning and I still don't feel I'm getting this character. More practice I guess.

This mornings sketch was just one of those drawings that was in the system somewhere.
As much as I love this series Pokemon is one of those games I lose days with. I haven't picked up the last 2 because I had barely anytime with Monster Hunter (though Black and White is looking tempting).

Keeping it Rowdy

Well another quick sketch with Sketchbook pro after work. The heel version of the character from the previous post. I haven't used layers yet and I'm wondering if I can layer paint strokes (at the moment one stroke just overlays the other ah!)
