    Oh btw, is there a way to save a file in SB without the merging of layers?

    Hey BT, If you just working in SB the ".tif" format should be fine. If you're going from SB to photoshop. Go to the "Save as type" tab in the "save as" window and select "Adobe photoshop PSD files (.psd)" as your file type.
